1992–2000
Foundation Years
1992: Incorporated as Punjab Carbonic Private Limited.
1993: Commenced operations in the trading of packaged CO₂.
1994: Installed first CO₂ recovery and manufacturing plant in a fertilizer-based company and commenced the business of commercial manufacturing and supply of CO₂.

Incorporated in 1992, Punjab Carbonic Limited began its journey with a clear belief that industrial growth and environmental responsibility can go hand-in-hand. From its early years, Punjab Carbonic Limited has focused on the recovery and purification of carbon dioxide from industrial emissions, contributing to more sustainable gas solutions in India.
Our integrated capabilities span production, recovery, engineering, and logistics, supported by laboratories, in-house engineering teams, and company-owned fleet of CO₂ tankers. From expanding food-grade CO₂ portfolio through diverse operational models to executing international projects in Zambia and Sri Lanka, Punjab Carbonic Limited continues to scale its capabilities.
Today, Punjab Carbonic Limited manufactures High-Purity Liquid CO₂, High-Density Dry Ice, and provides CO₂ Recovery Plant solutions supported by its engineering and project execution capabilities.

Punjab Carbonic’s manufacturing strength is built on scale, consistency, and control. With an installed capacity of 259,520 MTPA, Punjab Carbonic Limited operates a robust CO₂ recovery infrastructure that supports the beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors across the country.
Behind this scale is strong engineering. Our plants leverage low-power, low-maintenance, producing high-purity liquid CO₂ that complies with ISBT beverage standards. This turnkey execution capability enables industrial clients to establish in-house CO₂ production, monetize by-product gas streams, reduce atmospheric emissions, and advance sustainable production practices.
